These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of products through pennyburnengineering.co.uk, operated by Pennyburn Engineering. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them before ordering.

1. About Us

  • We are Pennyburn Engineering, a UK-based design and manufacturing business specialising in 3D-printed aftermarket parts for Volkswagen T5 and T6 vans.

  • We are an independent business and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to the Volkswagen Group or any of its subsidiaries.

2. Products

  1. All products are designed and manufactured in-house using 3D printing (FDM) technology. Product photos are for illustrative purposes, actual colour and finish may vary slightly due to screen display settings and the nature of the printing process (see our Product Information page for details on manufacturing variances).

  2. Fitment information provided for each product is based on our own testing and customer feedback for the stated vehicle models and years. It remains the Customer's responsibility to verify compatibility with their specific vehicle before ordering. Contact us first if you are unsure.

  3. Some parts may require the removal or adaptation of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components. We are not responsible for damage caused to OEM parts during removal, installation, or use of our products, provided our products themselves are free from defects.

  4. We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or update product designs at any time without prior notice.

3. Orders & Acceptance

  1. An order placed through the Website is an offer to buy. A contract is only formed once we confirm acceptance of your order (e.g. via order confirmation email). We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including due to stock issues, pricing errors, or suspected fraud, in which case you'll receive a full refund of any payment taken.

  2. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide when ordering (delivery address, contact details, vehicle model/year for fitment) are accurate and complete.

4. Pricing & Payment

  1. All prices are listed in GBP (£) and, where applicable, include VAT at the prevailing rate.

  2. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout and are not included in the listed product price unless stated.

  3. Payment is taken in full at the time of order via the payment methods offered at checkout. We use third-party payment processors and do not store your full card details.

  4. We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate. If a pricing error is discovered after you've ordered, we'll contact you before processing you may cancel for a full refund or proceed at the corrected price.

5. Delivery

  1. We aim to dispatch orders within 3 days of order confirmation, as each item is printed to order. Estimated delivery times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.

  2. Risk in the product passes to you upon delivery. Title (ownership) passes once we've received payment in full.

  3. If your order is delayed significantly beyond the estimated timeframe, contact us and we'll investigate, including liaising with the courier where necessary.

  4. We currently ship to UK and Ireland. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether we deliver to your location.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellation

Full details of your cancellation rights, our returns process, and refund timelines are set out in our separate Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

  • You have a 14-day right to cancel most orders under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Made-to-order or personalised items are excluded from the standard cancellation right, except where faulty.

7. Installation & Use

  1. Our products are designed as interior accessories/replacement parts. They are not safety-critical components, and must not be installed in a way that obstructs a vehicle's controls, driver's view, airbags, or other safety systems.

  2. Installation is carried out by the Customer at their own risk. Where installation instructions are provided, please follow them carefully. If you are unsure how to fit a product safely, contact us before installing.

  3. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from incorrect installation, misuse, or modification of our products by the Customer or a third party.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. All designs, 3D models, product photography, branding, and website content are the intellectual property of [Your Business Name], unless otherwise stated.

  2. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, 3D scan, resell, or redistribute our designs or physical products for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Our Liability

  1. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

  2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

  3. Subject to the paragraph above (regarding death, personal injury, and fraud), our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product(s).

  4. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use of your vehicle, arising from your purchase or use of our products.

10. Complaints

If you're unhappy with a product or an order, please contact us in the first instance at jordan@pennyburnengineering.co.uk most issues can be resolved quickly and directly. We aim to respond to all queries within 2 days.

11. General

  1. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

  2. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your order applies to that order.

  3. These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

  4. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
